DESCRIPTION:
The Coronado Junior Arts League proudly presented The Jungle Book with a cast of 30 young performers, ages 8–16. After months of rehearsals in acting, singing, dancing, and character development, the production came to life during three performances at the Coronado Playhouse on May 23 and 24. Featuring colorful costumes, energetic choreography, and memorable musical numbers, the production showcased the remarkable talent, teamwork, and dedication of the cast. Theatre artist and director Wilfred Paloma, who serves as Artistic Trustee and Resident Director for the League, was at the helm of this vibrant production.
SUMMARY:
Inspired by Rudyard Kipling's beloved classic, The Jungle Book follows Mowgli, a young boy raised by wolves in the Indian jungle. Along his journey, he encounters unforgettable animal friends and dangerous foes while discovering the true meaning of family, belonging, courage, and living in harmony with nature.
